In this role, you will report to the head of App Store Optimization, although you will work alongside each of our 3 principal Consultancy areas (UA, ASO and CRM). You will be asked to work on a number of varied projects and manage a number of clients.
Mobile Marketing is a complex area and our clients trust CMA to keep them ahead of the competition. They will follow our advice and implement our suggested strategies.
As Mobile Marketing Consultant, you will learn CMA’s techniques and frameworks, stay abreast of the latest developments in marketing and ensure clients and colleagues benefit from this acquired knowledge.
On a typical day, you’ll be expected to delve into our client’s data (ranging from keyword performance to downloads per territory and user LTV), and identify avenues for growth. Grounded in data analysis, you’ll use your creativity to translate those learnings into actionables: You’ll provide updates for clients’ presence on app stores, work with their designers to create imagery and video in order to increase their performance and liaise with their product team to prioritise ASO-driven recommendations.
You’ll ensure our clients benefit from market changes. Finally, you’ll prepare performance reports for our clients and ensure their needs are met on an ongoing basis.
Research and ambition to learn is key: Should my travel app have an Apple TV build? Is there a space for my app in the German market? Should I care about Kindle apps? Those are some of the business decisions you may be asked to investigate and provide informed decisions on.
You will be expected to work with clients in a varied range of sectors including Publishing, Travel, Wagering and Social Networking.
Although training is provided on the job (after all our designed services are unique to us!), we do expect previous work experience with focus on data and statistical analysis with exposure to data visualisation tools. Having worked with solutions like Tableau is a massive plus! You must be passionate about mobile marketing and have facility to learn new tools and technologies.
As most of what we do is based on data – you absolutely have to be data-driven, have an analytical mind and be creative to turn numbers into real stories!
